Ph.D. Student

Nico graduated from the Macaulay Honors College at the City College of New York (CCNY) with a degree in physics and concentration in material science/applied physics. At CCNY, he studied light-matter interactions in self-assembling light-harvesting nano-materials. In 2018, Nico joined the Program in Molecular Biophysics at Johns Hopkins. In the Xiao lab, his research focuses on the influence of chromosomal spatial organization on gene regulation within E. coli.
