Nicolás Yehya

Ph.D. Candidate (PMB)


Nico graduated from the Macaulay Honors College at the City College of New York (CCNY) with a degree in physics and concentration in material science/applied physics. At CCNY, he studied light-matter interactions in self-assembling light-harvesting nano-materials. In 2018, Nico joined the Program in Molecular Biophysics at Johns Hopkins. In the Xiao lab, his research focuses on the influence of chromosomal topology and spatial organization on gene regulation within E. coli.
